While it may be a small victory for Edge, it’s one that will fulfill a big request by many users. Seeing that these two extensions are now available for Edge is a big win for the browser as many power users consider them critical for navigating the web. Of course, you need to be running an Insider build that supports the feature in Edge to install these extensions and I kindly ask that you not block ads on Thurrott so we can continue to keep the lights on. The extensions, which you can download here: Adblock or Adblock Plus, will allow you to block advertisements with your browser. While it was promised at launch that the extension would soon arrive, the product has now shown up in the Windows Store. When Microsoft announced the availability of extensions for Edge, nearly ever user began asking when Adblock would arrive for the browser.
